Winemaking Practices

We craft each of our wines with exceptional precision and care. Each bottle of wine is made with grapes that are hand harvested and pressed with our state-of-the-art German press. The techniques we use bring out the best aromas and flavours that the Okanagan Valley’s terroir is honoured with. As continual growth and innovation is our vision, we create each varietal and vintage to proudly stand among the world’s finest.

Growing Forward

Owing to his background in farming, our proprietor was initially intrigued by the vines. He observed many different farming practices and visited numerous vineyards worldwide, yet our first vineyard was planted differently from the rest. The golden rule of vineyard planting is ensuring an abundance of sunlight for the vines, which will result in higher quality grape production during harvest. As such, he developed his own vine training system. The spacing between each vine is reduced, the height of cordons are alternated, and the shoots are positioned vertically. This results in higher yields, increased sugar levels, and reduced disease. We place great emphasis on our vineyard management as it is the first step toward producing quality wines.
